Specimen was discovered in 2010 Field Season by CFDC Summer Student Andrea Hrenchuk during the excavation of the "Xiphactinus Kill Zone" in the lower Gammon Ferriginous Member. While removing overburden in the middle Gammon, Andrea discovered and collected this fossil.
