These fish vertebrae were discovered by CFDC volunteer Barb Bennett while she was applying the catalog number to the fossils belonging to M.77.07.07. She brought these to the attention of the Assistant Curator, Joseph Hatcher, who then accessioned them seperately from the mosasaur, while still associated with it.
