Host Your Event
The Canadian Fossil Discovery Centre is available for a variety of private functions and special events. Whether you are hosting a fundraiser or a private reception, the museum offers a unique setting and a wonderful array of things to make your event a success.
Our facility can host up to 100 people. Guided tours can be provided upon request (with fee).
Some exceptions may apply.

A Presentation Room

Catering
Catering packages, hoerdoerves and refreshments can be provided at reasonable cost - available through the Recreation Centre. Contact Program Coordinator Linda Kirk at (204) 822-5431.

Fundraising or Campaign Events
If you are looking for a location for your next campaign event or fundraising endeavor, then we have the perfect location. Picture your event set amongst the gallery of our prized specimen, ‘Bruce’ the 43 foot long Mosasaur fossil. We also provide guided tours of our entire museum.
Parties
Host your party at the Canadian Fossil Discovery Centre and enjoy a personalized party. Arrive at the museum and enjoy refreshments and beverages. Your guests will be awed by the atmosphere and exhibits that will backdrop your party.
Give your child a birthday to remember in our Agassiz Room (1200 sq. ft.). Dinosaur toys, games and literature are available to party participants.
Press Conferences
Do you have something special to share with the Morden area community? Schedule your announcement from the ‘Bruce Room’. The Mosasaur Gallery is available for press conferences and announcement functions. Those really wishing to make a statement will have ‘Bruce’ the mosasaur as a backdrop.
