The Canadian Fossil Discovery Centre, a Manitoba Signature Museum with a Guinness World Record is expanding and we want you to join our team! Three part-time positions have been newly created including: Administration/Receptionist; Gift Shop Administrator; and an Interpretive Programmer.

Administration/Receptionist ($13.50/hr; 20 hrs/wk) responsibilities include: Answering phones, welcoming guests and operating gift shop register, clerical duties, mail, filing, organizing/re-organizing files, assist colleagues, manage supplies and other related duties. Must be friendly, outgoing and good with the public.

Gift Shop Administrator ($15/hr with negotiable commission; 20 hrs/wk) responsibilities include managing and building a growing gift shop business, maintain and grow inventory, order stock, promotion of gift shop, oversee weekend gift shop staff, manage festival gift shops, cover register and front of house. Retail experience required.

Interpretive Programmer ($15/hr; 20 hrs/wk) responsibilities include delivering individual and group guided museum tours, manage bookings and calendar, oversee summer programming staff and manage applicable grants, oversee current programming and events and develop future programming opportunities, cover register and front of house when required. The hours for this position are flexible and will require weekend tour delivery on occasion. Candidates must be friendly, outgoing and good with the public.
